• Email address — collected when you create an account, make a payment, or request a magic link to sign in.
• Document data — the details you enter into our forms (names, addresses, payment terms, and other document-specific information) used solely to generate your requested document.
• Payment information — payment processing is handled by Paystack. We do not store your card details. We receive confirmation of successful payments and the associated reference number.
• Usage data — we log which document types are generated and how many documents a user has produced, for the purpose of enforcing plan limits.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate the legal document you requested.
• Create and manage your account and document history.
• Send you magic link sign-in emails via Resend.
• Process payments and manage your plan or credits.
• Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse of the Service.
• Improve the Service and diagnose technical issues.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. Document Storage

Documents generated under a paid plan are stored securely in our database and accessible only to you via your account. Documents generated on the free tier by guest users are not stored after generation. You may delete your account and all associated documents at any time by contacting us.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Paystack — payment processing. Subject to Paystack's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Subject to Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Google Cloud — hosting, database, and infrastructure. Subject to Google Cloud's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic Claude API — AI-powered document generation for certain document types. Input data may be processed by Anthropic's systems in accordance with their Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Access to your account is protected by time-limited magic links. We do not store passwords.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and document history for as long as your account is active. If you wish to have your data deleted, please contact us and we will process your request within 30 days.

7. Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage solely to store your authentication token and email address for session management. This data is stored on your device and not transmitted to third parties.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
